Returns & warranty
30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. Installed electrical products can't be returned unless defective. No restocking fees. Damaged or incorrect item? Email photos within 7 days and we replace it or refund it. One-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
Three solid brass discs, one in each of our finishes, in a linen pouch. Hold them against your cabinets, your paint, your faucet, in your light. Nobody should order forty pulls or a house full of switches from a photo on a screen.

A note on unlacquered brass
The unlacquered sample arrives bright. Leave it on the kitchen counter for two weeks and handle it: that is what your switches will do. If you would rather it stayed put, that is what Aged and Satin are for.

Every switch, plate, knob and pull is offered in the same three finishes, made against the same master sample. Order the $25 sample set and hold them against your paint and your cabinets first; it is credited back on your first order over $150.
Unlacquered Brass
Raw, uncoated brass. Bright on day one, warm amber where you touch it by year one. For people who want a living finish.

Installation
Wires like the switch it replaces.
Standard US box spacing, standard screws, standard terminals. Any electrician has done this a hundred times, and a confident DIYer can do it in ten minutes with the breaker off. Every order ships with a printed wiring guide, and if your box looks unusual you can email a photo to info@oxidehardware.com before you order.
1. Breaker off, test the circuit. 2. Swap the mechanism, wire for wire. 3. Screw on the brass plate, power on.
